Rosemount Good Shepherd launched the Thrive Program this week, with the aim of providing early intervention and prevention to both primary and secondary school students.
The program aims to increase the wellbeing of students who are experiencing a range of barriers that significantly impact on their ability to engage in education. It is an innovative partnership linking the expertise of a community organisation with seven school communities.
Rosemount Good Shepherd works with the selected schools to identify children and young people at risk, delivering case work to those students, while strengthening the foundations that support their growth by also working with their teachers, parents and carers.
The launch took place on Wednesday 22 August 2012 at the Liverpool Catholic Club.
