Microfinance
In 2010, Rosemount Good Shepherd Youth and Family Services launched Microfinance Programs with the aim of helping people on low incomes to become financially independent.
Accredited by Good Shepherd Microfinance, the loans we provide are small loans that can be paid off over time in affordable amounts at no interest or low interest. They offer a safe credit alternative to pay-day lenders and other unaffordable credit providers and help prevent people from falling into a vicious cycle of debt.
The Rosemount Good Shepherd Microfinance Program can facilitate three different types of Microfinance assistance to families in need:
1. NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme)
2. StepUp (low interest loans)
3. AddsUP Savings Plan
