Skills for Life
The Day Program
According to the NSW Dept of Education and Training, there are around 50,000 young people aged 15 – 19 who drop out of education and employment every year.
We know that if we can assist these young people in re engaging with themselves, their families and community, their chances of earning gainful employment and reaching their full potential are greatly improved.
The Rosemount Good Shepherd Day Program is our longest running program; it is a ten week program offering Skills for Life workshops designed for young people who are at risk of becoming disengaged from education with the aim of providing an alternative learning experience that addresses the social, economic and personal barriers that are inhibiting their development.
