Recent research outcomes:
- a literature review on IT in contemporary society – read more;
- contributing to an evidence review on exploitative practices undertaken for Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand by Anti-Slavery Australia – read more;
Recent advocacy initiatives:
- a submission on behalf of Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand on the Exposure Draft of the Crimes Legislation Amendment (Slavery, Slave-like conditions and People Trafficking) Bill 2012;
- a joint submission with Good Shepherd Youth and Family Services (based in Victoria) on the Exposure Draft of the National Human Rights Action Plan.
Current projects include a collaboration with Anti-Slavery Australia at the University of Technology, Sydney to research experiences and incidence of forced and servile marriage in Australia.
