As identified in the evidence review conducted for the Hidden Exploitation report, there is very little documented about the experiences in Australia of forced and servile marriage.
As a result, our inaugural community forum on Friday, 28 September 2012 was in many ways a first look at the incidence of these particular human rights issues in Australia.
In addition to Anti-Slavery Australia and Good Shepherd team members, 39 people participated representing 24 different organisations.
